Beautiful Day in Lake Forest Park, WA – A Nice Break For The Winter….
Walking along the Burke-Gilman Trail is always a delight, but I especially like it when the Eagles are out! Today we saw three – one immature eagle without his signature white head and then two adults fishing. The photo is of one of the adults we saw and captured with my phone while on a walk this AM.
Let me know if you want to see any Lake Forest Park homes at all – I am happy to help. Tomorrow promises to be another great day and a good one for capturing views of Lake Washington.

Lake Forest Park’s segment of the Seattle Burke-Gilman Trail seems to always be in the news - speed
limits, radar guns, salmon considerations, right of ways, etc….
The Burke-Gilman Trail is part of Seattle’s larger Urban Trails System and a beautiful segment of it happens to travel along Lake Washington right through Lake Forest Park.
The Burke-Gilman Trail travels all the way from North Beach in Ballard to Kenmore with only one small missing link around the Locks in Ballard. It is part of the Cheshiahud Loop (Lake Union Loop) as well. Many people like to commute via bike on the trail and the Lake Forest Park segment is quite nice because of the abundance of trees. Here is a great map of the Burke-Gilman Trail: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/burkegilmantrailmaps.htm
